  • Our paving experience goes beyond just the supplying and laying asphalt. Elite Roads builds infrastructure to support the growth of our local communities against the test of time.

Our highly skilled paving crews deliver a diverse range of pavement services to our customers. The practical knowledge Elite Roads possesses in different pavement projects gives us the ability to take on a variety of asphalt laying services across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

The range of asphalt pavement services we provide includes:

    • Construction of new major freeway and local roads

    • The rehabilitation of existing damaged roads

    • Technical placement of asphalt for tram tracks, platforms, train/tram depots

    • Construction of pavement layers for complex carpark designs, container yards, industrial sites, etc

    • Intricate sporting venues such as motorbike tracks, netball courts, hockey courts, athletics tracks

    • Emergency call-out repair work

  • Profiling (also known as cold milling or pavement milling) involves the removal or partial removal of an existing paved surface.

Elite Roads deploys modern state-of-the-art technology and equipment to complete profiling projects of all different scopes.

The combination of our technology and experienced operators means that we can deliver a service to our customers that exceeds their requirements when it comes to quality and design.

Profiling is preferred over conventional excavation techniques it gives us the ability to remove a depth of existing surface using machine control to ensure we are only removing exactly what is required without impacting the integrity of the pavement layers beneath. Furthermore, our 3D profiling technology can interpret a developed design to ensure our machines are profiling to millimetre accuracy to the inputted design.

The waste produced from profiling is used as recycled asphalt material that goes back into producing future asphalt mixes.

  • Elite Roads is redefining the kerbing process, integrating the cutting-edge Power Curber 5700-D machine with our advanced Leica 3D Machine Control technology. This powerful combination allows us to deliver kerbs with millimetre-perfect accuracy to our clients, ensuring a superior level of craftsmanship and performance in every project.

Our innovative approach involves a continuous, automated process of laying kerb that results in smoother, more uniform kerb profiles. Our clients can expect accelerated project timelines, increased accuracy, reduced labour costs, minimised material waste and superior quality finishes.

Elite Roads is proud to provide a forward-thinking solution that not only enhances the aesthetics of the infrastructure but also delivers cost-effective and sustainable results for our valued clients.

Traditionally, kerb laying involved cumbersome procedures, from setting out by a surveyor to the placement by the kerbing company. The trip hazards posed by pins and strings were an inherent challenge on-site, creating inefficiencies.

    Seamless Automation:

Beyond conventional guidance with pins and strings, our innovative 3D Machine Control system provides precise control using a millimetre-accurate Total Station, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The Total Stations automatically updates the machine's alignment based on the 3D design specifications for the job. This means no more pins and strings, no more trip hazards, and a more streamlined, efficient kerbing process.

    Operator-Focused Innovation:

With the 3D Machine Control system in action, our machine operators can concentrate on safe operations and efficient product delivery management. The system takes the reins, automatically steering the machine and controlling the position of the mould with textbook precision.

    Benefits Beyond the Machine:

At Elite Roads, we're offering a skilful service that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and precision. Our slipform paving, coupled with the 3D Machine Control system, ensures a seamless kerbing process, minimizing disruptions and maximizing results. Where innovation meets skill for a smoother, safer, and more efficient construction journey.

  • Innovation is a key value of Elite Roads. We look at ways that we can achieve optimum quality for our customers so that collectively we can deliver projects to benefit local communities.

When we take on intricate projects we understand that there is zero margin for error when it comes to meeting design specs.

The services we deliver to our customers are all aided by our machine control technologies as well as our in-house survey team.

Investing in machine control allows us to 3D profile, pave and excavate exactly to design.

To date, Elite Roads has been successful in delivering these services on projects such as major road constructions, world-standard athletics tracks, national motorbike tracks and indoor competitive netball courts.

We are always looking for ways to work smarter in our industry. If you have a technical project that you would like to discuss with our survey team, reach out for a discussion on (03) 8866 1553.

  • Elite Roads offers a full suite of services. This includes our full fleet of Prime Mover trucks which we use to cart asphalt and profiling products to and from job sites.

Our Prime Movers are fitted with flocon trailers which allow our trucks to cart asphalt whilst ensuring the mix maintains a consistently hot temperature. This allows our crews to work all year round without needing to worry about asphalt mix cooling down below a temperature suitable for laying.

Our crews are further supported by our in-house float trucks which work around the clock to ensure our equipment is ready ahead of our jobs commencing.
