Elite Roads successfully completed a time-critical asphalt replacement at a busy container park in Melbourne's west. Working within a strict 12-hour window between ship movements, our team removed and replaced 800 tonnes of failed asphalt using two profiling and two paving crews. The old pavement was recycled and two new layers of deeplift asphalt were installed, restoring the surface to top industry standards. Works were completed on time with zero disruption to operations.

Elite Roads has worked closely with Wyndham City Council since 2017, delivering ongoing road maintenance and resurfacing works across the municipality as part of the council's annual road programs. Works have included successful trials of innovative sustainable asphalt mix types incorporating reclaimed plastics, rubber, crumb rubber and steel mill slag, reducing landfill waste and improving road performance. This asphalt can also be fully recycled at the end of its life, aligning with both Wyndham City's commitment to sustainable building and development and Elite Roads' own sustainability initiatives.

FLOOD RECOVERY

Following the devastating October 2022 Victorian floods, the State Government allocated $165 million from a $351 million emergency package to an urgent road repair blitz across the hardest hit regions. Works covered pothole repairs, asphalting and full road reconstruction including roads, bridges and culverts across the Western, Loddon Mallee and Hume regions, reconnecting communities and getting Victoria's vital freight industry moving again. Elite Roads contributed rehabilitation works on the Hume Freeway, Western Highway, Goulburn Valley Freeway and Murray Valley Highway as part of this coordinated effort with Major Roads Projects Victoria and Regional Roads Victoria.

Elite Roads was engaged by a private developer to deliver a range of civil works across multiple stages of the Wyndham Harbour development. Works included construction of the marina Fuel Dock Facility, a boat storage hardstand area, Ohana Beach earthworks and rock revetment wall, and the new Southern Beach Car Park along Beach Road, contributing to one of Melbourne's most significant waterfront development projects.

Elite Roads delivered asphalt supply and installation to new internal roads for the Eureka Subdivision, applying AC10 Type A asphalt throughout and removing and replacing damaged sections of Federal Drive with a new AC14 Heavy Duty overlay. The project covered 13,500m2 of roadway across a private rural lot subdivision in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales.

Elite Roads successfully completed the carpark extension and road upgrade for the Lismore Bunnings extension on Bruxner Highway. This project involved the supply and laying of AC10 asphalt for the carpark extension, as well as AC20 and AC14 asphalt materials in 8 layers for the rear roadway.
Our innovative construction services encompassed a new 1500m2 carpark and the implementation of an 800mm pavement raise to allow traffic access to the new trade centre. The project utilised over 1,300 tonnes of asphalt and required careful coordination across 5 site visits over a 4-month period.
Working alongside various trades, we ensured efficient project delivery while minimising disruption to existing Bunnings operations.
TWEED SHIRE COUNCIL

As part of this local community development project, Elite Roads was selected to supply and lay AC 10 type 2 asphalt to The Arbour on Burleigh Estate. This was the last stage of a multi-stage sub-division consisting of the final 95 lots. The development was constructed by Winslow Construction, with Elite Roads placing the asphalt on the 1223m2 road pavement.

Elite Roads supplied and applied an S45E rubber seal followed by an AC10 asphalt overlay at Harvest Estate on Ewingsdale Road, Byron Bay. Our NSW team placed over 1,000 tonnes of asphalt, delivering high-quality road access for this exclusive residential estate situated along the entry road into Byron Bay.
