Profiling (also known as cold milling or pavement milling) involves the removal or partial removal of an existing paved surface.

Elite Roads deploys state-of-the-art technology and equipment to complete road profiling projects of all different scopes.

Profiling is preferred over conventional excavation techniques as it gives us the ability to remove a depth of existing surface using machine control, ensuring we only remove exactly what is required without impacting the integrity of the pavement layers beneath. Our 3D profiling technology can also interpret a developed design to ensure our machines are profiling to millimetre accuracy.

The waste produced from profiling is used as recycled asphalt material that goes back into producing future asphalt mixes.

Our survey and machine control capability is one of our biggest points of difference in the industry. When we take on intricate projects we understand there is zero margin for error when it comes to meeting design specs.

Investing in machine control allows us to 3D profile, pave and excavate exactly to design, delivering millimetre accuracy across every project.

Elite Roads offers a full suite of machinery transport services. This includes our full fleet of Prime Mover trucks which we use to cart asphalt and profiling products to and from job sites.

Our Prime Movers are fitted with Flocon trailers, which allow our trucks to cart asphalt whilst ensuring the mix maintains a consistently hot temperature. This allows our crews to work all year round without the risk of asphalt mix cooling below the required temperature for laying.

Our crews are further supported by our in-house float trucks which work around the clock to ensure our equipment is ready ahead of our jobs commencing.
