Road profiling, also known as cold milling or pavement milling, involves the controlled removal of an existing paved surface to prepare it for resurfacing or rehabilitation.
Elite Roads completes profiling projects of all scopes using modern equipment and in-house machine control technology. Unlike conventional excavation, profiling allows us to remove exactly the depth required without disturbing the integrity of the pavement layers beneath, reducing material waste and keeping projects on schedule.
Our 3D profiling technology interprets the developed design directly, guiding our machines to millimetre accuracy across the entire project surface. The material removed during profiling is recovered and recycled back into future asphalt mixes, reducing waste and supporting more sustainable project delivery.

We operate one of the most advanced in-house survey and machine control capabilities in the Victorian road construction industry. On complex projects where design specs must be met exactly, our 3D machine control technology removes the margin for human error entirely, guiding our equipment to millimetre accuracy across paving, profiling and excavation works.
We have successfully delivered survey and machine control services on some of Victoria's most technically demanding projects, including major road constructions, world-standard athletics tracks, national motorbike tracks and indoor competitive netball courts.

We offer a full suite of transport services to support every stage of project delivery. Our fleet of Prime Mover trucks handles the cartage of asphalt and profiling products to and from job sites, fitted with Flocon trailers that keep asphalt at a consistently hot temperature throughout transit. This means our crews can work year round without the risk of mix cooling below the required laying temperature.
Our in-house float trucks run around the clock to ensure all equipment is on site and ready before jobs commence, giving our clients one less subcontractor to manage and greater control over project timelines.
